Flash VDO runs on Macs with Apple Silicon today. Paste one line into Terminal and it is in your Applications folder. After that, it updates itself.

Install on a Mac

Why a terminal? The app is not yet signed with Apple. Installed this way, macOS does not block it.

Open TerminalPress ⌘ Space, type Terminal, press Return.
Paste the line and press ReturnIt downloads the current build, checks it, and puts Flash VDO in Applications.
Open Flash VDO and sign inUse your Flash VDO account. No account yet? Get started.

What you need

System requirements

A Mac with Apple Silicon (M1 or later). Intel Macs are not supported.
macOS 14 Sonoma or later is recommended: the matting tools need it.
An internet connection. Flash does its work through our server.
A Flash VDO account and a plan. See the plans.

When a new build is ready, Flash VDO tells you and installs it from its own menu: Check for updates. No more trips to this page, and running the line again is always safe.
