The short version
- Your projects and your footage stay on your computer. Only what a request needs (your words, the frames Flash has to look at, the sound it has to hear, a file you attach) is sent to do the work.
- Your chats with Flash are kept on our servers, so they follow you from one computer to another.
- We do not sell your personal information and we show no advertising. This website uses one cookie, to keep you signed in.
- You pay by Fonepay QR. We never see your bank sign-in, your PIN or your card.
- You can ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, at info@sajeelo.com.
1. Who we are
Flash VDO is a product developed by Sajeelo Infotech Private Limited, a company registered in Nepal. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean that company, and “Flash VDO” means the desktop app, the website at flashvdo.com and the service behind them. We decide how the information described here is used, and we are who you write to about it.
Sajeelo Infotech Private Limited Chappal Karkhana, KMC 4, Bagmati, Nepal 44600 info@sajeelo.com WhatsApp only: +977 98690068652. What we collect
Your account
Your name, email address, mobile number and password. The password is kept only as a salted, one-way hash: we cannot read it. If you signed up with a referral code, we keep which code it was.
Your purchases
Each order: what you bought, the amounts in Nepali rupees with the VAT, the dates, its status, and what Fonepay reports back when it is paid (its transaction number, the time, and the payer’s number in masked form). A receipt and a sales order are made for each payment and recorded in our accounting system under your name, mobile number and email address.
Your work with Flash
- Chats. What you write to Flash, what Flash answers, the steps it took in your project and how each went, the plan it made, and the notes it keeps so that it remembers your project and your preferences.
- What a request needs to see or hear. Flash looks at frames of your timeline and your clips to do its work, and those pictures are sent with the request. When speech is transcribed on our servers, that stretch of sound is sent. Files and links you attach to a message are sent with it.
- What you ask to have made. The words and reference pictures for a generated picture, clip, sound, piece of music or voice-over; the recording and the spoken consent for a cloned voice; the photo for a presenter made from a photo.
- The project’s name. The name of the project, its file name and location on your computer, and an identifier of the project, so that a chat is found again with its project. The project file itself and your media are not uploaded.
How much of your plan is used
For every request: when it was made, how long it took, whether it worked, and how much of your plan it used. Your dashboard shows some of this as the number of chats and turns and the share of steps that failed.
Your device and the app
A random identifier the app makes for each installation (it lets a plan count the computers it is used on), the app’s version, the kind of computer, and the internet address a request came from, which our servers log.
Crashes
When the app crashes, it keeps a technical record on your computer (when, what it was doing, where in the program). A summary of that record travels with the chat the crash happened in, so that we can find and fix the cause.
Quality-review pictures
For an account that we are supporting or reviewing, we may switch on quality review. While it is on, each time Flash reports a piece of work finished, the app sends a contact sheet (a grid of small still frames of the finished timeline). These are deleted after 30 days. You can ask us at any time whether this is on for your account, and to switch it off.
This website
One cookie, fv_session, keeps you signed in for up to 30 days and is removed when you sign out. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics services and no trackers from other companies: the fonts, scripts and pictures of this site are served by us.
What we do not collect
We do not upload your project files or your source footage as a whole, we do not read other files on your computer, and we do not collect payment-card or bank sign-in details.
3. How we use it
- To do what you ask. To run Flash on your request, make what you ask for, and keep your chats in step between your computers.
- To run your account. To sign you in, measure your plan, take payment, issue receipts, remind you before a plan ends, and apply referral rewards.
- To help you and to fix things. Staff we have authorised may read a chat, its steps and any quality-review pictures to answer a request for help, investigate a failure or a crash, and check the quality of Flash’s work.
- To make Flash better. After a chat has been quiet for a while, an automated review reads what is new in it. It keeps the notes Flash remembers for you and your project, and it may write down general lessons about how to use the editor’s tools well. A lesson is a sentence about a tool, not about you or your content; one that proves itself may be given to Flash for every user.
- To keep the service safe. To prevent abuse, enforce plan limits and our terms, and protect accounts.
- To meet the law. To keep the accounting and tax records the law of Nepal requires, and to answer lawful requests from authorities.
We do not sell personal information, we do not use your content for advertising, and we do not use your content to train AI models of our own.
4. Who receives it
Flash VDO works by sending parts of a request to services run by other companies. They receive only what the work in hand needs.
- AI model providers receive your messages, the context of the edit and the frames Flash looks at, in order to answer.
- Speech and voice providers receive the sound to be transcribed, the text to be spoken, and, for a cloned voice, the recording and the consent you gave.
- Picture, video, music and presenter providers receive the description and any reference picture or photo for what you asked to have made.
- Stock libraries, web search and web data providers receive the search words, or the address of the page or video you asked Flash to read or fetch.
- Fonepay and its member banks process your payment. We receive the result, not your banking details.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers run the servers on which this information is kept.
- A provider of your own. If your account is set up to use an AI provider account of your own, requests go to that provider under your agreement with it. We keep the access keys you give us only to make those requests, and never show them back in full.
- Authorities, when the law requires it, and a successor, if the business is reorganised or transferred, under the same commitments as this policy.
These providers handle what they receive under their own terms and privacy policies. Some of them are outside Nepal, so your information may be processed in other countries.
5. How long we keep it
- Account details: for as long as your account is open.
- Chats, their pictures and Flash’s notes: until you ask us to delete them, or your account is closed.
- Quality-review pictures: 30 days.
- Orders, receipts and accounting records: for as long as the tax and company law of Nepal requires, also after an account is closed.
- Server logs: for a limited time, for security and to find faults.
What other providers received is kept by them under their own policies. Copies in our backups are overwritten in the ordinary course.
6. How we protect it
Everything between the app, this website and our servers travels over encrypted connections. Passwords are stored as salted hashes. Access to accounts, chats and payments is limited to authorised staff and is recorded. No system can be made perfectly secure; if something happens that puts your information at risk, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
7. Your choices and rights
- See and correct. Your name, mobile number and password can be changed in your dashboard. Write to us to correct anything else, or for a copy of what we hold about you.
- Take your work with you. The app can export a chat together with the files it made, as one archive.
- Delete. Ask us to delete particular chats, a cloned voice, or your whole account. We do it within 30 days, apart from the records the law requires us to keep.
- Say no. You can ask us to switch off quality review for your account, and tell us that you object to a particular use of your information.
These are in addition to the rights the law of Nepal gives you over your personal information, including under the Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018). To use any of them, write to info@sajeelo.com from the email address of your account. We may ask for a detail that confirms it is you.
8. Other people in your footage
Your footage, photos and recordings may show or record other people. You are responsible for having the right to use them, and for any consent the law requires, before you ask Flash to work on them. Clone a voice only if it is your own, or the speaker has clearly agreed.
9. Children
Flash VDO is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a child has opened an account, write to us and we will close it.
10. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we change the date at the top of this page. If a change matters to how your information is used, we will also tell you in the app or by the contact details of your account before it takes effect.
